Lake George, SA, AU

Quick sail after the 2600km drive. Thanks to the locals for some tips on where not to go. First sail at the lake and first time on a weed fin. Had an absolute ball and looking forward to some more windy days in SA. Will take a few days to get used to being over 30kn and gybing in glassy water, man that's the ducks nuts.

Naish SP95, Switchblade 5.8, Pepe Delta 20.

Holloways Beach, QLD, AU  Fun mid arvo solo sesh off the mudpit, breeze predominately 13~16kn SE-ESE-SE & fading later on.

The day didn't start off that well at home as I somehow managed to stab the upper topside of my thumb near the webbing with a scraper whilst hurriedly undertaking arduous pool deck maintenance, much to my disgust!  A stitch or 2 perhaps required...  I immediately downed tools in protest & recommended to the good wife for any further duties to be done at a later date.

Moments later...  A miraculous recovery proceeded soon after I noticed the Palm trees were starting to sway a little.  Self applied antiseptic, gauze and lots of strapping tape seemed enough to do the trick, but there was one thing lacking (I said to wife)- a dose of Vitamin Sea! Laughing  And then my wish was granted!

Ended up having a really nice blat upwind towards Machans beach and around the pit.  Absolutely beautiful sunny sky today and a perfect tropical temperature which was just great after soooooo much recent rain.  Made me realise that's why we live here!

Big congrats to Phil for his PB's at LG! Cool  Seriously not jealous at all! Yell

Used the Jag 125, Severne OD 7.8, Venom 48
