What a great day. We started in the morning, wind was strong but gusty. Came in for lunch and when we went back out it had swung towards the west and kicked in solid. The arvo session was awesome, fully powered up with glassy water between the 5 mile car park and the weather station.

Took the afternoon off work for a decent B&J sail at the local. Great fun. Fanatic FSW and 6.5 Ezzy

Golden Beach, QLD, AU

Rigged big initially 7.3m, but totally blown off the water after first run. Changed down to 6.3m and eventually that was also too big.

The new bar at Bribie is changing radically. The new sandbank that had previously formed is beginning to break through at the Northern end. There are now many more shallow spots to run aground on.
