Gustfront (2039km):  6 categories       Port Douglas, QLD, AU 85l wave board, 4.7sqm Kaos and 26cm fin LI ESE @ 23kt G 27kt Great bump and jump session. Strong at first then gradually settled. Underpowered for the last 30min. Great last Port Douglas sail for the year. Back to Sydney tomorrow. | ||||||||||||||||||
dr cam (42450km):  6 categories Green Island FNQ . ESE 18-25 knots .Gear FMX invictus 88l RSR E12 6.6 Tribal Delta 20 .Incoming tide . Great fun today . Started in just over ankle deep water 1.06 m tide height .( we usually wait for 1.3-1.4 m nowdays ).Slowie's deltas mean we can sail on some lovely flat water before it gets crazy rough . There were some nice gusts coming through in the first 1/2 hr but then things slowly settled in the low 20s & as per usual it was impossible to better the speeds from Run 4 or 5 . Started in bright sunshine /blue seas & finished the day in driving rain . Happy | ||||||||||||||||||
