Green island FNQ -Forecast had heavy rain /neapish incoming tide/a retreating ESE 20-25 knots .

I arrived in beautiful sunshine /20-25 knots ESE /stunning backdrop ( colors were amazing today ).

Spent first hour derigging after yesterdays debacle -broken mast /ferry issues  ie no time on water /remaining mast jammed into mast sleeve with inevitable jagged hole /sail covered in sticky bird shit...

After that i got going & had a great sail .Jp 95 l Evo 16 6.5 Tribal Delta 20 then Weedmax 26 .

Its been a tough year for numbers this year so nice to finally crack the 30 knot nm for 2026 ..!!

Aging comes with lowered expectations ...
