Pete C (139136km):  4 categories     Lake Weyba, QLD, AU. Waited for 30-40 kts to ease and had a late short session with Adam and Bryn. Was very up and down wind again and messy chop. Was light when I rigged so took out FOX105, good for 1/2 hr then got to windy again, should have come in and switched to FOX95 but Adam and Bryn had to go home & didn't want to sail on my own. dr cam (42450km):  3 categories  Lake George, SA, AU Great Day on the Lake in ~ 16-18 knots initially with wind gradually increasing to 24-28 knots (the odd higher gust ) by the end . Foolishly sailed with only one Gps -card reader stopped working so lots of f...king around to retrieve the data .Had 98.48 NM on the dial but somehow that doesnt seem to have been converted accurately-think there may be 30klms of missing data... Started on the Xfire 114 & Evo 5 7.8 then after lunch went down to the Iso 80 Superweed 23 & Evo 7 6.4 . Sailed down to the spit in both sessions but found I couldnt make ground upwind with the superweed so Hardie was good enough to give me a lift back to 5 mile . Best water was again upwind from the middle of the spit -thats where Hardie nailed his peak & 5x10s. Great Day .Good to meet KJ,catch up briefly with Jim Bob ,have a chat with the Jordans but managed to miss Larko again -sorry mate ...!!! | ||||||||||||||||||
