GatorPete (123732km): Lake Cootharaba, QLD, AU. Nice light wind session in 10-15 kt ESE, out with Paul and Russell. 127/37WS/8.6 O/d | ||||||||||||||||||
Cootharabean (16045km): Lake Cootharaba, QLD, AU RRD 114/Warp 8.4/BP 40 Today was an unexpected session. Forecast was pretty doubtful. Had some long chats with Sam and Russell just waiting around. Some infrequent white caps tempted us but thought it would still be a dredge fest. As soon as Pete turned up, it just got better and better. Nice to use my 8.4 Warp for second time. Felt way more comfortable today. First post in FNQ team. I learnt how to sail in the 90's when i lived on Hayman island for a couple of years, so i guess it makes sense to go back to my roots. Pitty the water down at Cootharaba isnt quite so clear. happy days |
