Cracking day on the island with Kel & Bindi - the anniversary couple, B2, Ed and Rick - the latte contingent of the team. Sunny, warm water, you've heard it all b4 Wink.  Thought it might build once the morning overcast conditions blew over but it pretty much stayed 18-20 all day, until the last half hr of the afternoon, when it cranked upto 25-27kts giving B2 the Man of the Match award i believe. Well done mate - well deserved and great persaverance. Right to the last minute.

Ed and Rick played hard out wide and had several duals out on the reef flats. I really struggled to get my board to release from the water. It was good, dont get me wrong, but I just couldnt get it up and on the edge in the conditions. Would love to have had the energy left to have a crack right at the end with B2.

Super happy with what I placed on the scoreboard. Used: 90 Xfire V9, 7.0 ODM1, 30 Tribal Mk1. Going to sleep happy thoughts tonight. Smile.

Green Island, QLD, AU  Finally the sun has come out for another great day's sailing in Far North Tropical Paradise in boardies!

Sailed alongside Capt'n Kel, B1 and Port Douglas latte lads Ed & Rick.

Wind 17kn SSE to begin with so rigged the Severne OD 7.8 M2 to go with the Jag 125 & Tribal 31WS/35MK1 later on.  Breeze built nicely throughout the sesh & ended up around 22kn @ 1pm.

Enjoyed scooting around on the Jag for the majority of the sesh, then decided to make the effort & plug in the ol' Exo 106 turbo for the last half hour to have a crack at a few speed runs.  Stoked to have done so as the very last run ended up being my best 2 sec for the day. Smile

Positive everyone thoroughly enjoyed their time out on the water! Cool

GI really is the gift that keeps on giving!

Green Island, QLD, AU yeah fun day at GI Went over with my mate Rick and caught up with the fast kids from cairns..Sailed 105 Fox with 7m no cam  in full lock down mode had a solid 20kts most of the time but it cranked up a bit more later in the day..Didn't spend much time on the drag strip looked a bit shallow for a 38cm fin and it had weed on it, still found some reasonabley flat water to play in for awhile and did some solid blasting out in the big pool which  was rough and wavey but great fun..Fox ran sweet the whole session even when taking a beating out the back, such a great all round board don't really want to sail any thing else at the moment..The one i got now is rather new and hasn't got any scares on it yet, think i might put some effort into trying to keep it that way..Had some  drags with the boys which is always good fun and gives us some thing to chat about at the end of the day.. Captain Kel was the fastest i think and was out clocking up kms before we got there.. Bill and Ben were at each other the whole time trying to get' line honours' Benny pulled out his speed board just as we started to pack up and did a couple of hot laps think that might of done the job..My wing man Rick put in a solid effort and said GI just keeps getting better..Think everyone went home shagged but happy..All good fun, and great company.. Cheers Ed..

As much as I would like to say I was just enjoying keepin' ya hangin' Benny, I am afraid it was because of something far more serious. Fairiebob sent me a photo of himself with Tricky and Hoppy. Of course instintively I stabbed both my eyes out and threw out my computer just in case...To cut it short, it has taken me a few days to get my tech sorted and then get Siri to understand my mask muffled baritone.

Anyhoo I think a chunk of congrats are in order, but unfortunately I can't read the screen and Siri just keeps playing Bananas in Pyjamas and then reading out The Betoota Advocate headlines instead. Tongue out
